Manufactured from aluminum with an electroless-nickel finish, the backshell features an M15×1 connector interface, approximately 0.153–0.234-inch cable entry, integrated cable clamp and self-locking construction. M85049/38S11N conforms to the SAE AS85049/38 accessory family for high-reliability aerospace and military connector installations.
